This Privacy Policy explains how Mera Bazaar Online ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our app or website (merabazaaronline.pk). By using the app you agree to this policy.

Quick summary: we collect account details, order/shop data, chat messages, and precise device location (to place delivery pins and, for riders, to match nearby orders). We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

1. Information We Collect

2. Location Data

We collect precise GPS location in these cases:

Customers: when you tap "Use My Location" to pin a delivery address at checkout or in Saved Addresses.
Shopkeepers: when you tap "Use My Location" to pin your shop's location.
Riders: while you are marked Online, so nearby orders can be assigned to you. This stops the moment you go Offline, and we ask for your agreement before turning it on.

Location is never collected in the background without your action, and is only used to power delivery matching, distance-based pricing, and address pinning - never sold or used for advertising.

3. Third Parties We Use

4. Data Sharing

Customers see: shop name, address, contact details, products, prices.
Shopkeepers see: customer name, delivery address, phone number, for their own orders only.
Chat messages are visible only to the two people in the conversation.
We do not sell personal data to third parties or use it for targeted advertising.

5. Data Retention & Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Firebase). Account data is kept until you delete your account; order history is kept 3 years for tax/legal compliance; chat messages until account deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

Mera Bazaar Online is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it immediately.

8. Advertisements

Mera Bazaar Online does not contain ads and does not use advertising SDKs.
